To provide a comprehensive recycling program for residents and businesses to reduce solid waste sent to the landfill and promote environmental stewardship. To improve health, safety and community appearance through education and ordinance enforcement. To plan and implement quality programs which involve the public in community improvement, waste reduction, litter control and environmental education.
