WATER RATE INCREASE
In response to an
expected rate increase on water and sewer to be imposed by
the City of Gastonia, the Town’s supplier, the Clover Town
Council increased the Town rates by 4% for Clover’s
customers effective January 1, 2010. The Town has
absorbed 19.4% in rate increases imposed by the City of
Gastonia since 2003 and now finds it necessary to pass along
the new increase to customers in order to continue
successfully providing water and sewer service.
