MANDATORY WATER
RESTRICTIONS

CLOVER CLEAN AND
GREEN
Make plans to
participate in the
Clover Clean and Green Day on Saturday, May 17.
On this day, you are encouraged to collect litter to help
support our efforts to keep Clover clean and green. The
Town has all the supplies you’ll need: trash bags, gloves,
safety vests and litter sticks. Supplies are limited. Call
us and we’ll even pick up the litter from the roadside.
Make sure to report how much you collected so that we can
report to PalmettoPride, the state’s anti-litter agency, the
Town’s activities. Please make plans to participate in the
Clover Clean and Green Day on Saturday, May 17! Call Town

DOG
REGISTRATION
You can start registering
your dogs starting January 1st if you have proof
of current vaccination certificates. All dogs are required
to be registered for the 2008 calendar year by April 30th
and will be assessed a late fee after that date. The cost
of registration is $4.00 per dog and tags are available at
Town Hall Monday – Friday, 8 am – 5 pm. The Town of Clover
will host a rabies clinic with Dr. John Chappell on Saturday,
April 26, 2008 from 9 AM until 12 Noon behind the Town Hall. If you have any questions, please contact Town Hall

SPRING CLEAN UP
In an
effort to assist property owners with their clean up
efforts, the Town of Clover will allow owners to place
miscellaneous and bulk item(s) at the curb for pick up from
May 19th - May 23rd. During this week only, the Town
will collect appliances like washers and dryers,
refrigerators, and stoves; paint; batteries; and any other
item not normally accepted.
The Town will not
clean up or collect items like cars, boats, mobile homes or
any other item that will not fit in the dump truck.
The Town will provide
assistance to elderly and handicapped citizens; call Town
Hall to schedule a time.
Item(s) must be placed at
the curb in an organized manner, separated into like piles.
Call Town Hall to request an extra roll out garbage
container if you will be disposing of a lot of loose items.
The Town hopes this service will help with clean up efforts
around your home. Make plans to participate in the Spring
Clean Up Week from May 19th - 23rd.

CEMETERY CLEAN UP
The
Town will be cleaning and cutting the grass at Woodside and
Clover Community Cemetery from May 6 - 8. Please remove
ornamental flowers and other personal items that you want to
keep during this time. You may return these items starting
Friday, May 9th.

ADOPT A BLOCK
Interested in
community service? There are blocks and streets in the
Town of Clover that are available for adoption. The
Town's Adopt-A-Block program is open to any individual or
group that will commit to collecting litter from the
roadside four times a year for two years. Join us in

2008 FEIS
CHLOBHAIR FESTIVAL
Clover’s Annual Feis
Chlobhair festival is scheduled for June 14, 2008, from 9AM
– 4PM at the Clover Memorial Stadium.
The festival
offers the community an opportunity to reflect on the
heritage of many of Clover’s citizens while enjoying unique
activities, athletics, and shopping.
This year’s event
will feature the Scottish Heavy Athletic Competition, Border
Collie Demonstrations (a must see), men’s rugby tournament,
children’s games, food and crafts.
Admission is
free; however, pets and alcohol are not permitted on
